CSL Behring’s fun and friendly sports competition for children and teens living with bleeding disorders will be back in 2026.
The company announced that the Gettin’ in the Game Junior National Championship (JNC) will be May 1-3, 2026, in Henderson, Nevada, just a few miles from the bright lights of Las Vegas.
The event is open to kids and teens ages 7-18. If you or someone you know is interested, contact your local bleeding disorders chapter about applying to become your chapter’s nominee. Find a list of chapters on the National Bleeding Disorders Foundation website.
The event offers kids and teens a chance to learn the fundamentals of baseball, basketball, golf or swimming and take part in friendly competition. Former elite athletes living with bleeding disorders serve as coaches and instructors. Families also can take part in educational seminars on topics related to bleeding disorders.
Sports are the theme of the weekend, but parents say the experience of spending time with other children managing bleeding disorders, such as hemophilia and von Willebrand Disease, is equally valuable for their kids. Here’s what parents told us after previous JNC events:
