Gaggan Madan, Director of Cell Transplantation in Global Commercial Development at CSL Behring, says she finds purpose in her work because of its direct impact on patients. CSL Behring, a business unit of CSL, makes medicines for rare and serious diseases.
“The realization that we are in a rare disease space and that patients around the globe are relying on us for life saving therapies, that brings so much more meaning to the work I do and a sense of gratification,” she said.
A mom to two children under 10, Madan also appreciates being able to find balance between work and home.
“There is a lot of trust and flexibility, and a genuine intent where leadership wants working women to succeed and grow in their careers at CSL while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.”
