Marco Windisch

Marco Windisch is the Enterprise Head of Alliances at CSL, where he leads the Enterprise Alliance Management function and oversees a global portfolio of development and commercial partnerships. In this role, he is responsible for establishing robust governance frameworks, fostering effective cross-functional collaboration, and driving long-term value realization, ensuring alliances deliver sustainable impact well beyond deal execution.

Marco brings 18 years of experience at CSL, having worked across Europe and Latin America in a series of progressively senior leadership roles. His career spans Decision Support, Business Development & Licensing, Sales, and multiple General Manager positions, including assignments in Peru, the United Kingdom, the Nordics, and Germany. In these roles, he led country affiliates with full accountability for strategy, operations, and performance, gaining deep strategic and operational insight across diverse markets and cultures.

Prior to joining CSL, Marco held roles across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Business Development, providing him with a broad commercial and strategic foundation.

He holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, completed his business studies at WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management in Germany, and is a qualified banking specialist. Marthe D’Ombrain, PhD, currently serves as the Executive Director and Head of Global Research Innovation at CSL and plays a key role in building and diversifying CSL’s global R&D portfolio.
