Debbie Drane
Head of CSL Business Development
Debbie Drane is currently the Head of CSL Business Development. In this position, she leads the Business Development Team focusing on delivering enterprise growth through high quality deals aligned with Therapeutic Area Strategies. Before this, Debbie was the SVP Global Commercial Development & TA Strategy where she was responsible for developing and executing global go-to-market strategies for CSL Behring’s pipeline products and managing the life cycle of in-line products. Debbie worked closely with her R&D counterpart to oversee TA Strategies, bringing a commercial perspective to R&D project prioritization and decision-making.
Debbie has been with CSL for over forty years, holding various senior leadership roles in both Australia and the US. Before her commercial role based in the US, she led the R&D Licensing & Partnership team based in Australia. Most of her career has been spent in R&D in both scientific and management roles.
Debbie earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from The University of Melbourne in Parkville, Australia.
