Story

CSL sponsored illuminations at multiple sites on 28 February to add some after-sunset sparkle to Rare Disease Day 2026.

The light displays were associated with CSL locations in Philadelphia; Kankakee, Illinois; Marburg, Germany; and Bern, Switzerland. The day recognizes the 300 million people across the world who live with 10,000 known rare diseases.

Watch the video below to see the display at Boathouse Row in Philadelphia, not far from CSL’s campus in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.

You can also see video footage of the illuminated Old University in Marburg, Germany – a sign of the company’s support for the rare disease community. CSL develops and manufactures medicines for rare diseases, including primary immunodeficiency, hereditary angioedema and bleeding disorders like hemophilia.
