CSL is committed to advancing high-quality, independent awareness, educational and advocacy initiatives that enhance patient empowerment and ultimately improve patient outcomes. Grant funding supports programs that demonstrate clear advocacy or educational value, and meaningful benefit to patient communities.

We support initiatives that:

  • Advance understanding of disease areas aligned to CSL Areas of Interest and Rare Diseases
  • Strengthen awareness, advocacy, education, patient care and outcomes
  • Improve patient care and support patient and clinical communities

All supported activities must be non-promotional and aligned with CSL Areas of Interest.

Note: This application process is only for request for financial support for independent awareness, educational and advocacy initiatives where CSL does not influence the content, conduct, or outcomes of activities. For donations and sponsorships please contact your applicable CSL contact.

Protecting the Independence and Integrity of Grant-Funded Activities
To ensure educational integrity and compliance with industry standards:

  • CSL does not solicit, influence or direct program content
  • CSL does not select faculty or speakers
  • CSL does not guide educational materials, methods, or venue decisions
  • Programs must be developed and executed independent of CSL influence
  • CSL will disclose funds to ensure transparency and compliance with local laws and codes of practice.

Grants are provided only to eligible organizations and not to individuals.

Grant Review Cycles and Timelines
CSL uses a structured review cycle to ensure fair and consistent evaluation of all grant applications. Each cycle has a defined submission deadline, communication date, and earliest project start date. Activities may only begin after a funding decision is officially communicated and a fully executed contractual agreement is in place.

Grant seekers are encouraged to ensure that submissions are fully completed and submitted well in advance of the upcoming cut-off date for consideration.

Programs that empower patients and patient organizations to improve awareness, accelerate early diagnosis, be informed of treatment options and advocate for true shared decision making, drive integration of patient voice in health technology assessments, address inequities in care for underserved groups including women and advocate for individualized care that addresses holistic and quality of life needs in one of the areas below or collectively as rare diseases.
